Halloween 2010

For 2 years now our small group has had a "Front Yard Festival" for Halloween.  Our church encourages small groups to hold these festivals in one of our yards so we can meet our neighbors and be a presence in our neighborhoods.  It's pretty easy for our group to be a presence in the neighborhood since 3 out of the 5 of us live in it, with two of us living next door to each other.  The festival is primarily held in the Renshaw's front yard but occasionally we spread out a little bit into ours.  It's a lot of fun because our group gets together early in the evening for a cookout and we have a fire pit we sit around.  Then when it gets dark and trick-or-treaters come by to visit we offer smore materials for them to make their own smores in addition to our candy.....parents just LOVE us ;)

This year the ladies of the group decided to go 80's style.

We decided Kenee' and Meagan were the preppy girls
Kristan was the sporty girl
and I was the artsy girl.......ha ha!!
